PGA Tour Fantasy

PGA Tour Fantasy Golf is the flagship roster-based fantasy game for the PGA Tour, where users draft a team of golfers and compete based on real tournament performance across the season.

I handed leaderboard related tickets for the PGA Tour Fantasy game while in-between projects to help lighten the workload of the team that owned PGA Tour. Specifically I updated and maintained the logic governing how golfers are displayed and ordered depending on season state, sorted by fantasy points accumulated during an active tournament versus sorted by season-long tournament points in between events. Getting that conditional ordering right matters more than it might seem on the surface, since a leaderboard that displays in the wrong order during a live event is one of the more visible things that can go wrong in a fantasy product and outside of a live event, those stats are used by the players to make roster based decisions.
